In 2010, Parenting Place made 1,228 Bright Beginnings visits, an increase of over 10% from the prior year. 23% of the visits were in Spanish language. Have you gotten one for you and your child? - Donation Closet maternity and kids clothing, toys, books, baby items including
cribs, strollers, high chairs, disposable diapers and wipes. - Food Pantry
baby food, formula, and general non-perishable food items - Energy Assistance through our partnership with Energy Outreach Colorado to provide low-income families with year-round assistance paying their energy bills
- Insurance Assistance with Medicaid and CHP+ through our Certified Application Assistance Site
- Latino Family Support including groups in Boulder, Lafayette, and Longmont, and ESL classes
- Family Advocacy including referrals to community resources and services, family development, individual counseling, and other support.
- Drop-In Play – playroom, art room, outdoor playground
- Parent Classes including the Incredible Years parenting series and Cooking Matters nutritional courses
